Great Sunscreen Chart

There is so much confusion out there about Sunscreen and SPF numbers. Some companies are even coming out with SPF 100's!!!! Do you really need that high of a number? What do the numbers mean? It's all so confusing......

I found this great chart to help show how much protection you get with different SPF numbers. You will see that once you reach a certain point, you really don't gain much more protection by going higher. Often times more harsh chemicals have to be added to get those higher numbers, is it worth it? Remember, you skin absorbs what you put on it!

Happy Goodbye's For Grace

With much happiness and love we send our deepest congratulations and best wishes to our dear friend and co-worker Grace, who is putting in her last day today. She is expecting her first child on May 8th and we are all thrilled for her. Grace has been part of the Erbaviva family for over 3 years now and has been a joy to work with and a steady rock to rely on. She will always be part of the family, but we will all miss seeing her everyday.

Happy Earth Day!!!

Happy Earth Day Everyone!!!

This is the 29th Earth Day and with each passing year, more people are getting involved and taking the time to take care of the earth. I saw a wonderful sight on my way to work today. A mother and her two kids were walking on the sidewalk on the way to school and they each had a trash bag in their hands. As they walked they picked up trash along the way. I thought "what a great idea" - not only were they helping the earth, but the kids were learning a valuable lesson too!
