Great Learning Opportunity! Green Seminar


There is a lot of confusion out there about what it means to be "green". If you have ever been confused about this or have questions, here's a great opportunity to expand your knowledge. As part of the NYIGF, there will be a series of seminars all centered around being eco-conscious and green. Here's one in particular that we find much needed and should be very helpful:

Learn how to distinguish “green” from “greenwash.” This informative seminar will help you make successful choices and avoid the frauds – whether in organic product standards, Fair Trade business practices or green production processes. The discussion will be led by Patricia Norins, publisher of Green Retailer and GIFT SHOP magazines, with panelists including Robin Brown, co-founder of Erbaviva, Alan Honick, partner of Lichen Studio and Mac McCoy, CEO of Tibet Collection.
